From Bonnier's Book Club "For Children", we received a task to make
toys for the book "Billy Goats Gruff".
It should be possible for the child to play with the toys while the book was
read out loud. The toy should be flat and of approximately the same size as the
book, so that it could be easily packed and sent with the book.
The point of departure for solving the task was the book of which we received
some copies; from there the ideas began to evolve. Now it was time for sketching,
cutting, pasting and gluing, and production of samples.
The result was a nice assembly kit made of cut out foam, which is of-course approved
and labelled according to the directive for toys. |
